EXTENDED LEARNING PLAN
Due to the unavailable access of reliable Internet in rural far western Oklahoma, Cheyenne Public Schools has developed the following Extended Learning Plan. In anticipation of more restrict stay home orders, delivery of materials and belongings will be delivered by CPS transportation.
PK-6 Elementary
Teachers are providing instruction for students who have internet access. Teachers will communicate to parents and students with assignments, instruction and due dates. We will utilize Study Island and IXL as well as our online curriculums. Homes that need hard copies will be provided packets delivered to them by CPS transportation. Each week teachers will accumulate, access, and evaluate student's work. The plan will begin on April 6, 2020 and end on May 8, 2020.
High School 7th-12th
Teachers are providing instruction for students who have internet access utilizing the online curriculum already established and normally used. Teachers will communicate with parents and students with assignments, instruction and due dates. CPS will utilize Study Island and IXL as well as our online curriculums. Homes that need hard copies will be provided packets delivered to them by CPS transportation. Each week teachers will accumulate, access, and evaluate student's work. The plan will begin on April 6, 2020 and end on May 8, 2020.
ALL STUDENTS: PK-12
Hotspots are available in the south student parking lot. For students with devices and no transportation or connectivity, parents may request USB drives with instruction information.
