SCHOOL CALENDAR - First day of classes begin August 13th. Class parties, Christmas programs, etc. will be evaluated as we progress through the year.
If the extended learning plan is put into place for any student, it is understood that homework, grades, and participation will be held to the same requirements as the “regular school” setting.
Parents will be asked to take the non medicated temperatures of their children before sending them to school. Temperatures must be below 100.0
Temperatures will also be monitored at school.
Masks – parents are asked to provide a mask that is individualized (like backpacks). Wearing of masks at this time is voluntary but will be added to the required list of materials for school.
Bus transportation – drivers will seat students best they can for social distancing. Drivers will provide the best ventilation possible. (windows/AC). Students in the Upper and Lower apartments will be asked to walk to school due to the proximity and to decrease the load of the town route.
At this time extra-curricular activities will continue as scheduled until further guidance from the OSSAA.
All visitors will be asked to stop at the front doors to take care of any “school business”
At this time, Open campus will continue until a disruption deems a necessary change.
HIPPA / FERPA – we are asking for full disclosure if you or someone in the household tests positive for COVID. This enables us to better contact trace and help reduce the further spread of the virus.
If you have underlying health issues or guardians that are most vulnerable, we ask that you contact us for further discussions on what we can do to help.
EXPOSURE / SYMPTOMS a document is being prepared for the protocol, procedures, and guidelines in the case of someone testing positive and/or exposed. The OSDE and OSSBA have delayed the release of information for further guidance due to the uptick of positive cases in Oklahoma.
OUR ACTION & REACTION will be factors for a successful school year. We ask for everyone to help be the solution.
